Thanks for all the replies. Someone else bought the car so it's their problem now. Like one of the posters said, there are too many cars available to get caught up in one with title issues.
I asked my fl dmv about buying an old car from a no title state,
If its registered to the seller up to date its not too horrible, they just have to run and inspect the vin,
But what if it hasnt been registered in who knows how many years, fl doesnt make it easy...etc.
Ive been on the crap end of this twice and both times it worked out, never will i risk it again,
