Hi, I am trying to track down documents on my '69. It was sold new at Saltz Chevrolet in Salem Massachusetts, which is no longer around. Anyone have information? I saw a post from early 2000's which stated that Hillcrest Chevrolet had Saltz documents, they are no longer around from what I can tell. Thanks in advance!!

Dealers in most cases only saved documents the required number of years and rotated the old out with the new in.
Your best bet.... you might want to join NCRS and then send in this info to them for the history you are looking for.
I know in 1986 when when the dealership (Willcox Chevrolet) was sold.... years of original papers got tossed. There was really no reason to store them as bad as I hate to say it. Over the years I've had customers send me pictures of cars that were delivered with documentation but as far as storing all these things... no way. You'd have to have a vault to store all that paperwork.
