Has anyone every done a mod where they installed a bottle for the washer fluid on 1972 that has AC? My car has the bag, which thanks to this forum I was able to find. I thought my bottle was missing. I haven't filled the bag yet to test it, but it seems cumbersome.
Sure. If you don't care about it being "original" and can find a place to put the reservoir which supplies washer fluid to the pump, go for it. I would suggest a plastic tank, instead of a glass jar; but that choice is yours to make.
When I installed factory air in my non-air 69 coupe, I just moved the factory square plastic bottle and bracket to the opposite (drivers) side fender. Fits perfectly.

Is there any way you could post a picture of this?
Just curious... what's wrong with using the factory washer bag? I mean other then it looks Micky Mouse.
The reason I ask is because after 49 years of use my washer bag still works great.
YMMV
Just in the process of troubleshooting my window washer which doesn't work. I had filled the bag which looked like it had been dry for years and still no luck. So I thought if I am going to be replacing parts anyway, why not install a bottle that is easier to visualize and fill. One of my goals with my Corvette is to take long road trips in it and you never know when you will need some window washer action.

Sorry but this is the only pic I currently have.
I was in the middle of installing EFI so I mounted the PCM in the LH fender at the same time I moved the washer bottle.
Elm Washer bottle in LH fender.
