Getting some work in on the car the next few months. New body bushing, new headlight support to get rid of rivet bumps. Sniper fuel injection with new tank. And body work with new paint job and all new chrome. Last year I did all new suspension, Wilwood brake with all new lines and master. New 502 with an M22 trans. Plus a new interior. Also replaced the vacuum systems for the headlights and wiper doors. This will be a brand new car when I am done. Can you say upside down. The other car is my 67 GTO pro street project that is also going on at the same time. That has a 540 in it.

You need one of these so you can get deeper into it! 3 is better than 2. No the maroon one is not mine. I can only occupy one side of the garage. But a lift is sure helpful. Would not do without one now. My other toy is a boat. Another big money pit.
5 years now. Got tired of shoveling snow.
Used to use Gasoline Heaven in Commack for service.
(sorry didn't mean to take the topic sideways)
I don't live to far from there. I am by Commack high school. We go to a Chinese place for food on Old Indian head road and main st. Gasoline heaven now sells Cam 2.
Grew up in Syosset, moved to Huntington and then out to Port Jefferson. Bin of the Island a long time but still remember Old Indian Head Rd, Kingspark. Great place to grow up back in the 60's.

Sure, Long River. Know it well.
Tim at Gasoline Heaven is a great guy. Runs a first rate place there. One of the few honest mechanic shops in the area. I miss not having him close by.
Nice spring like day on Long Island. Got both doors open, blasting some music. I got the body mounts done and the headlight header. Now the body work is getting done. I am hoping to paint it by the end of March. I will post somemore as I get the time to take pictures.

I've seen several forum members build these wood platforms to support their C3's rather than using jack stands.
I am going to build some for my project.
How long are the individual 2" X 4" s and did you just screw them together?
Thanks
