console lights
Hi. my shifter light and heater control light and ashtray light in my 75s console are all out. All gauges and dash lights are ok. The fuses all look ok but havnt took any out yet. I checked the bulbs. Ill pull and change fuses first then take it all apart tomorrow to see why. Has anyone ran into this one before? or have any suggestions?

Those bulbs should be on the same circuit & fuse as the dash lights.

Actually, you can run that jumper from any grounded surface (metal in dash area, (-) pin in fuse box, etc. to a bare metal surface or screw in the console. If those bulbs light up, you just need a good ground connected to that area. If not, the bulbs are bad.
