Mono Dash Speaker Wiring

I'm looking to eventually replace my cheesy aftermarket stereo with a correct U69 mono system. Probably won't sound very good, but it's correct for the car, so I'm okay with that.
Can anybody tell me if these speakers are wired for a mono system or a stereo system? I'm not sure if it's apparent from the photo.

I believe that is a mono speaker wiring harness. The stereo harness has a different connector at the start of the harness, if my memory is correct.
