I have a question from a potential buyer regarding items I have for sale on the Forum's Parts for Sale page. I am NOT very knowledgeable on these cars; perhaps a Forum member could chime in with the correct answer to help with the sale.
Are the 1969 kick panels (item #2) and defroster grille (item #3) interchangeable (the same part #) between coupe and convertible cars?
The only difference in the kick panels may be if your car has A/C or not. I believe....if my memory serves me correctly....that a NON-A/C cars right kick plate is different than that of a A/C equipped car. A kick plate on the rigth side on an A/C car has more plastic cut out on it for the vacuum pod for the fresh air vent.
If I remember correctly, the A/C and non-A/C use the same kick panel. But there is an area cut out of it [for clearance] on the A/C version. And I believe that is the way it was done even at the factory.

Yep. Passenger's side kick panel gets trimmed to clear the vacuum actuator on factory air cars.
