Have one of those myself. No relay, but, a starter solenoid on the starter itself. Red wire power comes to your keyed ignition switch and purple wire goes out to the solenoid to crank the starter. Pink wire is for ignition coil through the firewall connector and comes out as a resistor wire. Depending on whether you have points or HEI distributor, the yellow wire may or may not be used. Not used if you have HEI. Brown wire is for accessories.
i was hoping to use a remote starter can i attach it to the solenoid?
Yes - just attach it between the 'large' terminal and the 'S' terminal on the solenoid (as 4corvettes mentioned - the 'S' terminal should have the purple wire on it).

Corvettes do not come with starter relays. The starter solenoid functions as an electrical solenoid and relay in one. Hard to get to the solenoid on a Vette if it has rams horn manifolds.
If you want to add a relay it can be done and it gives you a handy place to attach a remote starter switch for use in setting valve lash or other engine maintenance. Makes the starting circuit more reliable as well.

Painless Wiring #30202 Comes with a diagram. You can buy that or use a common Ford starter relay. I have wire and terminals so I build it myself with the Ford piece.
