Any if you out there replaced your dash (top and the two lower piece)? I’m curious to see your corner fitment between the top dash corners and the lower pieces at the door jamb.
I replaced my lower driver side, and it's fitment is better than the stock one, you should check your screw mounting points on the upper, you should have no trouble pulling the upper dash down to the lower
the upper dash is original
ive been very happy with CA's repro's, the door skins are better than the original as well... mates perfectly and matches to the dash and rear lines
oh wow that fits nicely... im suspicious of my upper dash creeling slightly from some prior owner putting new speakers in, and didn't get all the clips under the lip... and I think it's turned up ever so slightly on the ends... I guess I could slowly heat them up and bend them down... buut… eh

not sure what you mean, all the screws are tight and the rest of the dash lines up good:
I found this thread with one frustrated poster, which was dealing with the same problem me! back in 2015! that stuff didn't fit either...same issues of having the upper dash corners being higher than the lower dash corner...
I had a lot of trouble lining up the lower until I got the wires out of the way over the top of the gages, was about 1/3 of an inch closer after I got it sorted out, before it looked like yours, I also had to put pressure on the upper left corner of the lower dash to get the upper A pillar screw to line up

I run after market gauges so I have a catV wire to on gauge and that's it...the rest of the harness goes over by the top of the gauges and that is not factory either...I'll check for interference just in case but the 3 bolts went in fine and both pieces up together nicely....seems that it is the the corner of the upper dash that aren't done correctly...I know they supposetly updated their tooling but maybe not for 68 since it is a one off piece with the ignition switch in there...
I might try a heat gun at the dash corners and see if the A pillar molding adds any pressure down onto it.

Ah you should be fine then, i still have that 1" bundle on mine thats why... and who knows how much they tweak molds at GM over the years... i find just getting things to look right can be a major victory in these old cars
I played with it some more this afternoon...driver side is better but pass side is the same as before. Seems like the panel corners are not tall enough to meet with the dash... sent an email to Corvette America Sunday afternoon to my contact there who is taking care of my "sub par" show "quality" bumper but I have not heard back from him today. Not sure what can be done. I put my stock pass side lower panel on and the fit is much tighter... I hope their door panels are better than that or I'm gonna have a conniption...lots of money for all those new parts and I'm not impressed...

I sure hope they can work this out for you... I kinda feel bad mine fit so well >.<

hope so too, Ecklers got an email about it too...lets see what they all have to say...this is pretty much out of my control...been one thing if I could "fix it" with some fabrication but not this...I've had to fix a lot of "parts" for this car...probably why that will be the only and last one I ever do...been doing restomod for 25 years and I'll stick to camaros/nova/chevelle where the repro parts are night and day better and 1/4 of the price! /rant
Talking with Corvette America (whom made those parts), my contact stated they had not seen any issues like this but due to the fact that I bought them from Eckler's I'd have to go thru them. Haven't heard back for Eckler's yet from my Sunday evening email to their customer support. Hopefully sometime soon.
I would have thought that CA would have been more concerned about it, regardless of which dealer I got it from, since their name is on the box...
got another email from Eckler's friday stating CA wanted "straight on" pictures "like if you were sitting in the car"....hmm ok, well I obliged and sent some... stay tuned!
The fit around the pillar posts on top sure look good but the sides look bad. Nothing lined up that well with these cars coming out of the factory and compound it with repro parts made offshore or poorly copied and you wind up with a lot of hours adjusting and trying to get it as close as possible.
My 1976 has the same buckskin interior and there is a gap on the drivers side between the dash pad and pillar. GM actually rolled up a piece of what looks like deerskin chamois and stuffed in it. It matches. It is the original factory dash pad and has never been disturbed. I've owned the car since 1982
My 1971 has a repro dash pad that went in and fit perfectly (a miracle). All the other interior pieces needed adjustment to fit well. One item I will complement was Corvette America's door panels. They are actually an improvement over the originals and seem to be made better. A lot of the small accessory pieces (door handles, etc.) are crap compared to the OEMs but the good news is at least you can get something.
