I am replacing all interior in my 1975 and would like to eliminate the pocket on the right lower dash panel and would like to know if i can use one from a 1969 without the pockets? Has anyone ever done this?
Thanks

' 69 still has the pockets. You'll need to go back to a ' 68 for a right side without pockets. As far as will it fit, that I'm not sure of. I'm sure someone else will chime in on that!

Only the '68 has no pockets. I had a '68 and didn't like the fact there was no "readily available" place to put ANYTHING. If your map pockets are not in good condition or damaged, replace the map pocket portion and recolor it to like new condition.
P.S. Unless there is significant damage on your interior parts, replacing them with modern aftermarket parts could be an expensive mistake. Lots easier and LOTS less expensive to clean them, make any minor repairs, recolor them with matching vinyl dye, and reinstall. Less then $100 spent on cleaning and recoloring products will do the entire interior.
No you can't use the 68 pad... the shift console was different and so was the lower section of the right dash pad on the 75, the difference was at the bottom of the pad by the center dash bezel.
With a little effort and work, you could eliminate the pockets yourself by re-covering your existing panel without them,,,, I loved the smoth passenger side on my 68,, really not too difficult to do, or have a local shop do it,,,,,
