Well, the fall monsoon season has started in northern VA. Yesterday was dry, so I got a final top-down ride in the 68 convert. Now it is in hiding in the garage with the car cover keeping the spider poop off the paint. Only advantage is now I can start the winter project. Rip out the flat top pistons and stock connecting rods and add domed pistons to boost the CR to 10.2:1. The rods are OK, but adding aftermarket stuff is addictive, so out with the old, in with the new. Then.... a trip to the dyno to see how much rwhp I got for how many dollars. If I recall, last time I spent about $1800 to get another 30 rwhp.
They are salting the roads today, 4 +inches of that white stuff, end of driving season and I missed out on a last ride. Way to early for this to happen, must be global warming that causes it to snow in October. T
Down in the metro Richmond area, I'll drive mine all winter, as long as the roads are dry and not pre treated for an upcoming snow. Currently in Orlando on business and not looking forward to coming home to the cold temps!

Just tucked mine away for the winter today. No snow but due to global warming its 20 plus degrees below normal here in MN. Putting on the plow mount on my LS6 wrangler tomorrow.

Moved the cars around and packed mine up for the winter yesterday.
Hey Scott, I really enjoyed talking to you guys and hearing about your car, it looks so much better in person. I'm not ready to give up the driving season yet. I'll keep an eye out for you at the shows.
