Old Gas

What should I do with old gas? I have some year old gas in my car that has sat for some time. Should I drain it out and put it in the wife's car? My pickup truck? I can't run it in my hotrod. What do you all do when it happens?

Just use it up in the truck a little at a time....year old gas is NOT that bad....I've seen MUCH worse.
Filter it before you put it in something else.

Lawnmower
Sno-blower
etc.

Same here,
I use it in anything with a carb on it. As said a little at a time. My fork lift & tug love it.

If it is ethanol-free, put it in the lawn mower or other yard equipment engine. Otherwise, put it in the pickup truck. Add a bit of octane booster, if you think it's old enough to go 'flat'.

I had the carb apart and the gas just smells old. Not really sure how long it has been in there. Engine was giving me problems at idle once fully warmed up. Carb was spotless inside so am looking at the fuel. Pickup truck will get it 5 gallons at a time. ☺ thanks!
