Default Quickjack 7000 size

Can anyone confirm that the Quickjack 7000 will work with a C3? I know that the 5000/500SLX will work. But, if I get a 7000SLX, I could also use it for my truck. Just trying to maximize potential.

I bought the 7000 SLX for Christmas. I haven't finished putting it together yet, but the listed dimensions are identical to the 3500 & 5000 SLX, except for the collapsed height. I had the same goal in mind as you... I wanted to be able to lift my wife's midsized SUV if needed.

I can't remember if mine is the SLX or the EXT, but I believe it is the EXT because I wanted it for my F150 also. I have my C3 on it as I type. If you'd like I'll confirm tonight when I get home.
edit: I took a look at the Quickjack website, but they changed it slighlty - when I bought mine they had an F150 sitting on a Quickjack, I verified the length to work on my C3 and other cars, and that is what I bought. Let me check tonight though.

Thanks, that would help. Quickjack has a deal on the 5000SLX but the 7000 may be more versatile for my needs.

I asked this question back in Sept. but never really got an answer that seemed to address my concern. From pics of the Quick Jack it appears they seriously limit the ability to access under the car from the sides. Am I missing something here?

i have the slx 5000..my understanding is same size as 7000slx. The ext is longer, and i purchase the extensions for my 5000 which they say will then be same as ext version..
still waiting for extensions back ordered..
So slze same on 5000 and 7000 lengths...

Sorry guys, forgot to reply back. I just looked, mine is the 7000SLX. My 76 is on it as I type, works GREAT. If you get one, get the truck extension kit:

https://www.quickjack.com/accessorie...k-adapter-kit/

I used pieces of this kit for my cars. It comes in segments so you can lift the vehicle just a few inches higher. The rubber blocks are steady Freddy, and even thought I have stacked the rubber blocks, I agree with others here it did make me a bit nervous. This is a much better solution when you want just a few more inches. I LOVE the height I get out of my car. I only mildly mind that I cannot get into the sides of the car. With it being so high off the ground I can get on my creeper and see everything under there. If there was truly something that I needed to access from the sides I'd probably get some extended jackstands, lift the car with the quickjack, and set it down on jackstands. My heavy duty jackstands don't come close to the heighth (sp?) I get out of the Quickjack.
So, I use my 7000SLX for my F150 4x4, and all my cars down to my 76. Hope that helps!

The 7000 works well for both my '73 and my '05 Suburban. I can even use the SUV adapters on the Vette if I lift it with the rubber blocks first, then set the wheels down on some homemade wheel cribs and then re-raise the car using the adapters. The adapters are too tall to use without double lifting but it really doesn't take much time if you need the extra height.

Edit: To clarify, I can use the SUV adapters without first raising the car but I have to raise it to use the extension poles that came with the SUV adapters.

I had to put the back ones in first, and then "finagle" the front set of SUV adapters under mine but I got them under without lifting my car. Maybe difference in tire size? Dunno.

You can use the Quickjack side to side under the car and lift it that way instead of placing them front to back lengthwise. This way you can gain some access from the side of the car.

I think that would be much safer than very tall jack stands.

Thanks guys. Quickjack has some open box 5000SLXs for under a grand. Will probably bite the bullet for the 700SLX now.
