I'll be the weird one, I use a Braille 2317. It's about half the size of a regular battery and 17 lbs.
Seems like I'm pulling the battery out for storage or whatever often enough that it was worth it to me.

I have had the same Interstate battery in my 68 since 2006. The car is only driven from March through November, and maybe 50 miles during that time period. No battery disconnect or tender. Starts like a champ every Spring.

3 year old replacement GM Delco battery in my Sierra 1500 - left me stranded 2 times last week @ work during a cold snap. Slow charged it both times back @ home - did a load test on it after stranding me a second time and it failed. Not holding the charge. For the price - wish I would have got more than 3 years out of it. Maybe a dud.

Love Optima batteries - 2 in my boat - red and yellow top. The redtop is temporarily in my GMC Sierra - see above post.
