Not north jersey but check out Gillian's customs in Middletown NY. He did my custom C3 interior and he is top notch. Check my build thread for some photos.

Interior work being outsourced (parts and labor) can be very costly...mostly due to labor TIME being used for relatively simple work. If you have DEEP pockets, having this stuff all done with outsourced labor might be acceptable. If you can do the removal and installation work, see if you can find a shop that can take the loose PIECES and get them repaired/refreshed/replaced/recolored. You will save a LOT of money.

Yeah...Yeah, I can attest to this! I opened up my dash 2 years ago to track down a short in the dash lights. Ended up tearing the entire dash out, down to the firewall. After 19 months of banging my head against the wall trying to get it back together, I finally decided to get professional help from a classic Corvette specialist in So Cal. I has already bought $1,200 in parts and spray dye, and it cost me another $3,400 just to have it all put back together.

However, I will say, it was worth every penny. They repaired several cracked vent/heater ducts, and other parts that I was going to ignore, and the sanded and repainted my steering column. The person that changed the color before had done a **** poor job, and the paint was flaking off. They also checked and changed several vac lines behind the dash. When they handed it back, they apologized for the extra time and expense, but told me I should never have to open that dash again, barring something wierd happening, like a rodent.

All-in-all, I had to recognize that I am good with the simple, bulk engine stuff, but I suck at detail work. I have neither the skill, nor the patience for it. So, for me... this made good money sense.

Before...

After....

Depends...I had him recover my stuff and I did the install. But I have hours into it on my own. All my parts we oem and it still took a bit of work to make fit. And to be honest I still see things I don't like, interior on these cars are not cheap to your pockets or time.

Comes with the hobby, you have to pay to play!!
