Used to drag race many years ago. Can't imagine the feeling from the driver's seat when she started to lift off the ground. Watched the video a few times. Pretty incredible how fast things change in fractions of a second.
Launch off the starting line sure is impressive. Glad it turned out okay for the driver.

Yep....I read in a Corvette history book that they had to put those two openings in the lower front end on the C3's to improve BB airflow and also help keep the front end down. Wonder how fast he was going when it lifted...

Don't know how fast on the lift-off, but Shannon Poole's car goes high 4's in the 1/8 mile.....(mph?)
