C7 hood vent
So been thinking about adding a C7 hood vent to my stock hood. But since I have a 75' with the hood vent by the windshield I think it may not look good. opinions please

I recall someone did this somewhat recently but I don't recall the year of the car that the mod was made to. I also have a 75 and have considered this as well. I look forward to hearing other opinions.

That's not the one I was thinking of, although Ryan's car is beautiful. I recall that someone did this with a stock hood, where they had to do major glass work to the hood to make it work and look right. It's been a little while and I may just be imagining it.

Is this what you are looking for? There are 3 examples at the beginning of this thread, Jimmie Johnson's car being one of them. Although the hoods are probably different than the one on your 75.

Was thinking the same thing for my 75...went as far as purchasing the parts just never had time to do it. saw it on Jimmie Johnsons vette when it was at Barrett Jackson few years back, looks great. Maybe if they tell us to stay home I can start laying it out.
