Default Interior color decision

I painted my 69 coupe with Cyber Grey from the newer corvettes. Was thinking of going with the gunmetal interior. I need some opinions and suggestions to go with this color.
Thanks

Red gut.

Alternately, a black and burnt orange interior would pop.

Awesome color, but I wouldn't do black or anything dark for the interior. Weren't there sone light grey or 'oyster' interiors on 80-ish C3's?

I changed my mind: how about medium burgundy or bright red? Yikes!

Believe it or not, a saddle interior, especially something like the 71 dark saddle, actually looks pretty good with Cyber Gray. Cyber Gray with a dark saddle interior should give your car a modern updated look.

Years ago there was a Laguna Gray 70 around here, with the light saddle interior, and it was a very striking combination.

It's your interior and color is a very personal choice, but if I had a body with that dark grey I'd accent it with the '76/'77 Smoked Grey (it's actually more of a dove grey) and the '76 pieces would pretty much be a direct fit for your '71.
I think that combo would be stunning.

With the exterior color being dark metallic gray, doing the same on the inside might be a bit too much of a good thing. Your interior needs a bit of contrast to make the whole package stand out. Maybe a 2-tone interior with a lighter gray and some black accents? White is too much contrast, for me. Gunmetal and Firethorn? Dark reds, silver, gray, black come to mind for interiors with your paint color.

Hi 71 yellow. Will you hafta update your CF name with this color change 🥴?

Guilty of being a Corvette purist, I will deviate and say how happy I am to see photos of a C3 painted Cyber Gray. Brilliant! I’ve always loved these cars in the similar Steel Cities Gray, but Cyber Grey is even better. Cyber Gray’s tiny blue flakes pop in the sunlight. It’s gonna pair up with your chrome beautifully. I have a 2010 Grand Sport in Cyber Gray and I think it’s one of the best colors ever on a Corvette. My CG G/sport is matched with red interior. Mostly red, it has charcoal carpet and some charcoal in the door panels and instrument panel. I love it and it gets many compliments.

I’ll suggest red interior. Maybe consider black or gun metal carpet though? A total red interior might be a bit much. Some combination to really promote the beautiful match up of CG and red seems perfect to me.

Let’s see more pics, especially after you get it all back together. Please?

I had my test drive this morning and am having hesitation in choosing the interior color. I went in thinking that I would go with White, and I still prefer how that looks - the interior of the vehicle just looks brighter and more open. My wife has concerns about how it will wear over time - we both wear jeans a fair amount and are concerned about transfer onto the seats. While the Owner Advisor indicated that the seats should clean up well, he thought the Black snaptube vidmate would be a better choice if we plan on keeping the vehicle more than three years, which we likely will.

Love the new paint color. Every one of us will have an opinion of interior, mine is my go to - black.

Color is outstanding. Red interior would be my choice without question. But which red.? Early 69 bright red or the later C-3 Oxblood.

That is an amazing paint job, I love the colour! If it was mine, I would do the early c3 bright red interior, I think it would look sharp with the gunmetal. Even the bright blue interior would be cool.

I am surprised nobody said anything about the flared fenders. That is a very well executed body modification. If a body mod doesn't jump out at you right away I would say you nailed it.
