Didn't the manual transmission cars also have a switch on the clutch pedal that tied-into the neutral start switch circuit? That connector may be what links to that switch.
The manual tied the clutch into the purple + purple/white circuit over under the dash. That one (although different than my 72) I believe the switch operates the same
The green and pink wires are the reverse lights, only show continuity in the reverse gate position
The pink w/white and pink (same pink as above) wires show continuity in drive (3,2 and 1) so they must be related to the seat belt reminder circuit
Again, not sure his year but it's the same color wires in the same place so....
