I would say there is no way in hell that's real. Originally each stamp was done with a gang stamp (one at the engine plant and one at the assembly plant) and should be in a straight line and evenly spaced as it was done by inserting the correct letters and numbers into the gang stamp and done all at once. The stamping probably won't be exactly parallel with the edge of the pad but the stamp lettering itself should be straight. That is really crude and looks like someone made a total mess. It would be worth more without any stamp as it looks like a really dumb attempt to fool someone.
I have the idea you already know this Forman and are just asking for opinions to convince someone else

I guess it is a good thing for us that people are so lazy at restamping, but I cannot figure out why someone would not invest a few dollars in the correct set of steel stamps when restamping an engine.
They are trying to fake a serious dollar car, and are not willing to invest a hundred dollars or so is the correct font steel stamps.
