First I am new to the forum as a member but not as a fan! Many of you have helped me with my current restoration! When searching questions this forum comes up many times with answers that work so I thank you! Now my first post 😁
i bought 75 and up headlight support brackets and I have a 71. Since I had no tabs I didn't know how to check. Thw guy I bought them from I know well and said he would take them back. The thing is I have already blasted, painted and reassembled these and they look great! Can I make them work? Or is this just a waste of time?
thanks
I would say that you did a dandy job of doing a "dry run" on the parts you need for your car. BUT you should be able to make a tidy profit on the ones you just refurbished when you sell them. I would suggest that you NOT try to "massage" the later buckets so they will work in your vehicle.
you redid and painted the pot metal bodies-covers to match your car. they are the same from 69-82. the horseshoes that they mount in are the diff. and they do not show without a creeper and a flashlight. the older horshshoes are more expensive than the later models. they are sheet metal. i am sure the 75-up version could be modified to fit the chrome bumper nose fairly easily. unless NCRS etc points are concerned...
