The owner of the shop who was originally going to do the body and paint encouraged people who wanted to learn, to help with their cars.
His shop is within two miles of my house.
The only problem is, he has been postponing the start date every two weeks since October.
I’m on another shops schedule and they say it will be sometime in May, but they are about a two hours drive each way from me, so too far to help.

Love the color and love what you've done so far. Sorry that it's been such a pain to get there. I know I'd be pissed about that part. I think it's awesome that the shop is letting you work side by side with them. I'd love to get my hands dirty doing the same to mine along side someone who really knows what they're doing. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Pete!

There were a few months when I couldn't even look at the car without getting furious, but that's passed. Now I'm excited about the reassembly. The toughest part as always is finding the time. An hour here and there really doesn't allow for substantial progress. I WILL have her on the road this summer. That's a must. And she's getting closer.

I want to see your car at Bloomington Gold in June.

Good luck,

Hey George!

Long time. I'm thinking she'll be ready by then. With that VIP treatment you gave me last time, you know I'm itching to get back. Hope to see you soon.
