That is a c2 box, can't see the over but it may be a 63. It will bolt into any 63-82 vette. The input would be a full 3/4-36 spline so you would have to have the correct rag for it and for your column. L69-82 used a 3/4-30 spline input with a D-Flat. You could use it with a 67-e69 rag, which market price for NOS one is about $300 now. A NOS 63-66 rag is about the same in not more.
Regardless of chrome or dirty old paint the condition depends on how it was stored, worked on and setup up. A simple check with a dial torque wrench will tell the story. I'm sure not saying the box is good or bad just saying what I see and what you don't.

You can also use a Flaming River U-Joint for about $100-, which is what I have in my manual steering 80 behind my @GTR1999-rebuilt steering box, which uses the same internal parts. I bought a core with a nifty powder-coated cover, and GTR did his magic. Note the red paint on the splines to mark high-center, in the absence of a flat.
What's inside, though, hopefully the seller can tell you.

Read up on the rag joint before you make your choice. The rag joint can, for example, permit the steering box to move slightly relative to the steering column. OEM ones also have an internal ground pathway for the horn. The U-Joint is not a perfect replacement, just what I chose for my car.
