Anyone running gold lines? It's time to replace the tires on my 71 and am considering replacing the raised white letter with gold lines as my car is WBY.
Thin colored-strip tires were a 'thing' of the mid/late 1960"s. After 1970, only thin whitewall or raised white letter (RWL) tires were available from the factory. But, an owner has to like the 'look' of their car...whether 'period-correct' or not. With the right body color, a colored-stripe tire can look mighty good.
