Ok another question for the panel, the steering column has a tag on it and if the key is in the on position the part just before the dash will rotate, and on the wirewall side there is a connection for a cable that I think goes to the trans ? as you can see its not hooked up but there is a bracket on the trans that could receive this cable, sorta like an emergency brake cable.
That’s the ignition column anti-theft interlock system. Yes it attaches to the trans with that cable. If you re-read your post, you didn’t actually ask a question.
VERY nice option list, Red or blue interior would be the only change I would have ordered, can't wait to see it back in Cortez silver.
When having it painted if you have the paint samples approved /checked by NCRS paint judges it will help if you ever attempt to sell it, because if the metallic content is not correct it will kill the paint score.
OR you could have the paint store reduce the metallic content by 25-30% and just go with it. (this range is the percentage reduction which is settled upon whenever I have paint spray outs approved by the judges prior to painting a car for NCRS.)

thanks, can the paint code # on the build sheet be mixed ? or is that just a reference # by GM

It can be mixed from code, however I would doubt it passes for metallic content.
If it were me and I wasn't going through the NCRS judging, but was concerned someone in the future may do it... I would have it mixed from code with a 25-30% reduction in metallic content spray out and personally do a visual then just fly with it... very unlikely to get more than a few deduct points for color metal flake.
Of course it is your car so...
AS AN ASIDE: Prior to having paint judged in NCRS I would not have thought it to be a very big issue, however paint is 135 points which is 3% of the total car points & if you are below a 97% total you cannot get a DUNTOV award.

The rotors are riveted on for a very important reason. Low rotor runout is very important on our special non floating c-3 calipers. They would turn the riveted rotors true on the spindle in a special machine. Always mark your rotor to the spindle if you remove it, other wise you will have rotor wobble and if you have the caliper piston cup seals, they can pump air into your brake system. Lou.
