Welcome Sir Speedy. I've had my 69 for 43 years...enjoy!

As a matter of fact...forget the Vette...I covet your GARAGE!. LOL. Can I just sleep on the floor??

Take MASSIVE amounts of pix..

Cortez silver is my personal favorite.

We really want to know the condition of the underside and birdcage....make sure the foundation is secure before you start throwing money into it.

Best of luck...you're going to be amazed at the support here.

Great Boat! I've got an Antique boat. '68 Larson Glaspar. Corvette Content; It has the marine-ized 'Blue Flame Six' in it. (so that's where they all went! lol)
I (re-) built the boat 25 years ago.

I take it out on it's maiden voyage. I'm idling out of the no-wake-zone near the docks and there is this REALLY LOUD...TICK,TICK,TICK sound...driving me nuts!

I get it up to speed and the tick goes away....(okay something is breaking in). I finish the trial run with no issues...until I'm idling back in....TICK TICK...JEEZ!

Shut the boat off, out on the water...pull the massive engine cover and go thru the engine for about a half hour...can't find a thing. I leave the engine cover off and motor toward the dock. TICK TICK TICK. @#$%^!!!!!!!!!

Tie up the boat at Idle...Bend down to pick up a new adult beverage..MAN! THE TICK GETS LOUDER.

ENGINE HOUR METER UNDER THE DASH!

Quiet boat that! Like Rolls-Royce.."the only thing you can hear is the ticking of the clock!"

Cheers Unkahal
