I hate electrics, so had someone come out and have a look at a few things, sorted out the headlights and wipers, need to do the door locks, but other than that coming together
Electrics are not difficult, just testing for power, continuity, shorts, and bench testing. Very logical and straightforward.
It's electronics that makes me crazy.
Headlights sorted, highbeams sorted, indicators sorted
That god ugly Air horn works
not to do the things I like, Oil filter ordered and oil ordered, then playtime

As an aerospace engineer, there were times in my career, where I spent hours going through electrical schematics..difficult by do-able. However, I find the schematics in automobile manuals, the AIM's or shop manuals, to be almost worthless.
I have a large color wiring diagrams for my C3 as well as many of my other older vehicles and I find them most helpful. The black and white ones with the components numbered, with the key on a separate page, I do find most frustrating. On modern cars, I don't even want to start.
i like paying good people that know what they are doing to fix **** I cant, and did i tell you guys I HATE ELECTRICS lol
so they came they fixed and not im happy,
Mechanical side I am comfy with
I know what you mean. I got in my 75 yesterday and the a/c is coming on randomly while everything is in the off position. When it does the fan blows at high speed even in the low position. I hate to have to tear the console back out to look for a short.
Following the electrical schematic is an investigation in itself. I used mine to repair my backup lights. Its pretty confusing, but once I traced all the wires and the colors back to where they should be, I now have working back up lights.
Hope your current and future electrical problems have a good result too

The wiring diagram is helpful in that it tries to illustrate the layout of the circuits in the vehicle. The ladder diagram is nice because it illustrates the logic of how the circuit and it’s conditions function. Having both speeds things up a bit for me.
