Does anyone know who sells a compact electric hand saw, like carving knife size? Also looking for a windshield pillar weatherstrip video on the "way" to manipulate the new molding into place.
Well, I want one of those now, but that won't do what is needed. I need to reach the velcro fastener with a blade, a few inches in between the headliner piece and the T-Top outside piece. Somebody repaired them with way to much epoxy. They put globs of it between the 2 velcro fasteners, so I figure cut between them through the epoxy sandwich to get it apart,.
or larger electric and cheaper..that looks like silicone to me not epoxy...if epoxy good luck..try a metal blade..otherwise silicone will cut with a knife

Perfect!!!!! Just bought it, what about the blade?
What are the characteristics of the material you're looking to cut? Soft and rubbery, or hard and solid? Soft/rubbery likely would do better with a knife-like blade. Hard/solid a saw-like blade, maybe 10-12-tooth/inch -ish.
Cutting through epoxied velcro fasteners of the T Top.
Epoxy will soften with heat. Try a heat gun to warm it to about 150° and see if you can gently pry it free with a putty knife. Go easy on the heat as you don't want to bubble surrounding or back side paint.
What are you attempting to do? I know you want to remove the panels from the T-tops...but why? There may be an easier way to resolve the actual problem you are trying to solve.
