I need to update my seatbelts. Who makes the best oe replacements for a 72 coupe. I know I’ve read threads before but I can’t seem to find those threads.

If you buy both lap and shoulder belts complete with new D rings - pug and play complete, date tags included for $640 and they pass NCRS and Bloomington. I had an original set just last owner tried to dye everything and these are Exact and I do mean EXACT! I just bought a 1971 set for $620. If anybody knows where there is a “close but not exact set for less, Id like to know, I have a daily driver farm find that is a base car not worthy Of big money parts so please let me know.
Update for others in the future. These look fantastic and im looking forward to dropping in new belts. The originals are getting worn now approaching 50 years old. Here is what arrives from Corvette seatbelts and classics in the end. Mark was a pleasure to deal with.

Do you have any pictures of the seat belts as they come out from under the seat? How do they come thru the carpet? I have an assembly manual and there doesn't seem to be any detail in that respect.I'm putting Seatbelt Solutions copy of the original belts in a car that someone just put lap belts in, so I haven't seen what original installation looks like.

I will look. I know I installed mine incorrect when I did carpets and the retractors dragged on the carpet. Toylman sent me pictures of his all original 7k mile car with carpet cutaways to use but I have not yet installed the new ones. I will post when I get a chance.
