Damn, damn, damn. I've got a paint bubble under my otherwise flawless paint job (5 years old). It's small, approximately 3/8" diameter, but definitely a bubble. I can see a very light "ghost area" of body work in a 2" circle surrounding it. My car is a light metallic gray similar to Steel Cities Gray without the green hue. I doubt it can be spot blended.
Anyone had a similar experience, and what do you do about it?
I have about 3 of them on the rear deck lid of the 72 coupe. I tried to "deflate" one and glue it back down but it would not settle back and looks slightly worse. I don't think you can do much other than to grind it out including some of the fiberglass underneath which is probably contaminated to begin with. Then repair and repaint and try to blend it in or repaint the section.
Or do what I am doing for now and learn to live with it (for now). Ike

My bubbles match the spider cracks perfectly so I am just going to live with them. Car is a 5 mph/5 ft. weekend driver car with a 20 year old paint job and fortunately overall still looks pretty good. I would be quite depressed to spend big money on a paint job and then have this happen so I do feel your pain.
I use a paint guy who is mobile and all he does is repairs. Depending on the location of the blister he may be able to fix. He does all Tesla’s in the field work. I would have someone similar who specializes in spot repair. You may want to check with some of the dealerships. Bob

Good read, Sunflower. My bubble is small enough that I think I'll give the super glue a shot.
BTW a few years ago I dribbled a small run (2 inches) of super glue down the side of my drivers door. After a few days I figured I had nothing to lose so I hit it with acetone. Voila, it took the glue off without harming the paint.
