Default 71 Manual Window Regulator Question

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the right and left manual window regulators. I suspect that I might have mixed them up after I took the doors apart. From what I recall turning the window crank clockwise when facing it lowers the window and vice Vera....is this correct?.

If you mixed them up, you would have bigger problems than “which way do they crank”?

Drivers side door, clockwise rolls it down. The white one is drivers side I believe.

They are different (parts books show different P/N's for each). Whether you can switch sides with them and have them operate well (except in reversed rotation of handle) is something I do not know.

i have numbers on them but I can’t locate anything that corresponds. The only difference is they travel an inch further in one direction, other than that they are identical. I have found a few pictures that show the springs hook from the bottom so that’s what I am going with...but who knows I could be pulling them out and swapping them....we will see...thanks for your input.
