Years back I drilled out the cylinder and was able to release the lock from the bolt. Then I carefully broke out the cylinder which allowed a new cylinder to be installed. Maybe there is a better method.
Also, now that it’s out you should look up how to take the lock cylinder out of the housing. I’ve done it, just don’t remember how at the moment. I know if you look it up on the forum someone will have explained how.
On the lock cylinder the key code may be stamped into the side. If it is, you can take that code to any decent locksmith and they can make you a new key right there.
