Matte black vinyl stripe down the center of the hood and back end. No stripe on T-tops. It was a bit 'boring' before the tape.
P.S. The vinyl stripe has been on the car for about 8 years...without fading, peeling, chipping. Every 3 months (or so) I give the stripe a wipe of Nu-Vinyl to block UV and keep it protected from the elements. So far, so good!
It's a little late if they've laid down clear coat. Best way is to put the color down, put the embellishments down and then clear over that (you have to work fast or risk bonding problems with the clear). That way you don't see the taped edges of any stripes.
Myself, I'd be happy to find a shop or expert that could put down some pinstripes.
