Matte black vinyl stripe down the center of the hood and back end. No stripe on T-tops. It was a bit 'boring' before the tape.

P.S. The vinyl stripe has been on the car for about 8 years...without fading, peeling, chipping. Every 3 months (or so) I give the stripe a wipe of Nu-Vinyl to block UV and keep it protected from the elements. So far, so good!

FWIW: if you want a painted stripe, the time to do it would be while the car is still in the paint shop.

The bridgehampton blue with the white stripe and painted rear clip is super sharp!

Like Easy Mike said, great time to do that is while the car is still in the paint shop. It certainly would check the box for NOT BORING ANYMORE.

It's a little late if they've laid down clear coat. Best way is to put the color down, put the embellishments down and then clear over that (you have to work fast or risk bonding problems with the clear). That way you don't see the taped edges of any stripes.

Myself, I'd be happy to find a shop or expert that could put down some pinstripes.

You could always do vinyl!

Im not a fan of custom stripes but this look has always been my favorite. Looks best on yellow, of course.

A nicely-executed Motion stripe is the only other one I like.
