I am process of arranging for my recently purchased c3 (1970) and need to consider tire options as I want to store the originals. Any thoughts or ideas on a good set of 4 tires? I read that Coker has Bias Plys that will fit.

Coker brand and their pricing is is really expensive compared to other suppliers . Personally I would Stick with a radial that looks like a bias ply and not an actual bias ply tire. A bias ply tire is going to be a totally different ride feel than a radial.
Ive heard good things about the Goodyear Silvertown redlines, still $250 a pop but I think most bigger retailers can get them. not just from Coker. Firestone makes redlines and RWL as well. I personally like Firestone but I dont run the style you are looking for. I would price check online for your best prices or maybe a locally tire store that has a good reputation to see if their supplier can get you what you need. Some places wont mount tires they dont sell
Good luck

If your car is a 'driver' that will see regular use on the highway, I would not put 'specialty' tires on it (Coker, Diamondback, etc). Higher volume production tires would be a better choice, I think.
If you are buying/building a 'museum/show' car, the 'specialty' tires would be the best choice.
As mentioned, do you homework if you're considering BFG Radial TA's. Mine are about 4 years old, and they do brown, but I wouldn't call it as bad as some make it out. I use bleach white tire cleaner and they get about 90% as white as BFG's i've had in the past. Not a deal breaker for me. I replaced Cooper Cobra radial Gt's only due to age, and they did fine. I might go back to the Coopers when my current BFG's age out.
Its been a while but if I remember correctly Diamondback will make whitelines or redlines using various core tires including believe it or not BFG radial RWL TAs. They also have a lesser brand for a cheaper price. After a major hassle and having to fight to return my browning BFGs I choose to go with BFG because I think they are good riding tires. What they do is remove the RWLs and mount them inside out nd place the line on the opposite side..
I like the look and the ride!!!! Ike
