lots of entertainment on BAT yesterday. A yellow 69 roadster got close to the reserve but didn't sell at around $30K. Then minutes later, a yellow Z06 almost exactly like mine but lower mileage sold at around $40K. BAT seems like a good way to get buyers into an auction buying frenzy, lots of last minute bidding. Not sure what their (BAT) take is. First class photography and immediate seller attention to the questions being posed seems to really help.

I believe they have a max on their selling fee of $5k. Makes the site pretty attractive to some high end car sellers.
Here is another interesting one....The owner selling built this car in 1970 from a car he bought in 1968. I am very curious if the car was showroom candy for a time as the build date is may and the sale date is September. What the car was originally is pretty hard to guess, but hopefully the owner paperwork would have some leads. A "period" L88 street racer is still a really cool item. interesting car, and a true shame the Kustoms are gone...to me they make the car. Still, this thing is damn cool, and worth a look!
That is a very interesting car but not for $120k. I wasn’t street racing on Long Island in the 70’s (except on bicycle) but my friends older brothers were and nobody remembers the car.....
I had the pleasure of owning, showing, and driving a 1969 L88 convertible. Gold Certified, and a Super Chevy Sunday winner back in the early 1980's. The photo is me and Zora at super Chevy Sunday at Indianapolis in 1985
. I drove it 13 miles in the several years I had it, into and out of an enclosed trailer. Now at 70 years old, I'll never own another one, but if I did, I would drive often, and FAST!!!
