Any one have any experience with the Doug's High-Flo side pipe muffler inserts...
I'm running open headers right now and it's just to loud. And I don't want to get pinched for the noise....
Do the High flows kick it down enough to get me out of a ticket?

I always get "quiet" inserts for my Harley and Vette....if they are too quiet I drill/enlarge the holes in the insert until I get the sound I'm comfortable with.
A previous owner welded 18" of cherry bombs at the end of my Hooker headers, and used 4" truck stack pipes as the extensions. They are basically open pipes, so I'm following for better suggestions.
I have Doug's inserts in my side pipes.
At normal cruising speed, you can carry on an conversation with the other person in the car.
At wide open throttle, they're pretty loud.
Side note - If you do go with these inserts, you can wrap them with DEI titanium header wrap before sliding them into the side pipe.
With my wrapped inserts, I can put my bare hand on the pipe where the insert is after a 30 minute drive.
I went with the Spiral Turbo Baffles ( https://www.spiralturbobaffles.com/ ) years ago in my Hookers.
They are all metal with nothing to wear out. I even modified the central tube so I can easily unblock it when I want the extra flow when at the track.
I've been very happy with them.
Billy Boat Exhaust makes side pipes that are insulated and flow well. They say you san touch them and not get burnt. They claim no heat shields are needed. I have some ordered now so no personal experience .

I have the STS baffles too, Not real bad until you get in the pedal.
Thanks for all your replies...I decided on the Doug's D952's...
I called tech support at Doug's and the guy said that the D952's were discontinued because they were too loud..
So I found them somewhere else and went with those,
My wife is gonna be pissed
Not as pissed as she will be when her leg gets burned. My wife burner her leg for the first time on the sidepipe this weekend. I forgot to remind her to be careful before we got out. I run the STS spiral baffles in mine and like the sound by the way/
