No, you can't just push the wire back in.
the wire broke off of the copper contact inside the socket, when you remove the bulb one of these will fall out. Here's two from my dash light sockets.
And no you can't reuse them, once crimped there done.
you can however get new ones or pull a wire out of a un needed or junk yard socket with the end attached.
Here's a new one crimped on a wire.
Notice how the new style is crimped to the wire and the insulation, much better. then thread the wire through the little base plate and spring, and out the bottom of the socket and solder and heat shrink wire back together.

Well, the answer is still "No". Whatever configuration socket that you have, you must properly afix the wire to the contact in the socket before it will work WELL again.
There should be enough wire to pull it through the socket. Reinstall spring if so equipped and the strip off about a 1/2 inch of insulation. twist the bare wire and make it into a coil and solder. I fyou're afraid it will slip through the spring add a small washer to prevent the from happening. Over the years I have repaired many in this manner.
If that's not the type you have, it's certainly different from my car. perhaps put up a photo of the offending socket. then perhaps we can guide you through a repair.
