You’re over thinking it . The Moog number I gave are off set , wether you want it to compensate for a sunken frame for Camber or for getting more Castor it’s all good . Just order them

I have a set of cleaned up stock a-arm shafts if you would like them. Would eliminate the down time.
I bought a set of Moog Offset ones for mine, and I slotted them 1/4" on my buddies mill.
If I gain 2 degrees from each mod I may be able to get near 6 caster total. We'll see. Car is still dissasembled.

Another thing I could maybe do is buy a pair of Moog ones for you, have them slotted, and then ship. Interesting?

O.K. just to put this to bed, the part number K6184 for Moog shafts. I have run the fitmit on this part number on numerous sites. fits Vans, Blazers and a few other trucks. No moog number I can find fits C3 Corvette or any of the cross reference cars listed in post number 2.
Really??? does Moog make a shaft to fit our cars?
What am I missing here?

Hah! You are on to something. I just ran this thru all my local auto parts stores suppliers and got almost no hits.
Looks like they are dropping computer entries for our old cars. Surprise!
I did finally find:
Moog K6104
Napa NCP 2803604

You can check the on-line compatibility list here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MOOG-Contro...75.c1#viTabs_0
C2 / C3 Corvettes and 60s/70 Impalas / Caprices

Some mentioned K6184 as the number. I disagree. Sounds like a typo/mistake. I see nothing on that application list except pickup trucks., no corvettes.
I looked for my P.O. on the ones I bought. Could not find it. But they look like the 6104s.

Also no budget for aftermarket A arms. would like to get some caster to put some "feel" into steering. The budget method is to use offset A arm shafts. Big name brand super expensive parts cost 3 times as much for me over here so please spare me. So far part numbers supplied have given me replacement bushings. (No good) And parts that I can not find through google or Summit . A part number that can be found with a Google search or from a company that ships to Australia for a reasonable price would be greatly appreciated. And truthfully, I am still trying to understand how a downward offset can work. really need rearward offset to get more caster. Thanks Guys for any help. I really do have a limited budget. I can pull this apart and put it together. would just like to get rid of this super light feel.
I copied this pic from another forum member BUT forgot what the Red and Blue lines represent....it has to do with machining the upper control rods to increase caster.......any info is appreciated

Red = Remove ADD metal-spacer (1/8").........Blue = Add metal Remove metal equal to amount added on the other end of rod.
Also slot the holes (1/8") would give 1/4" total adjustment (I would prefer to Not slot the holes 1/4")

I had my Moog offset shafts milled 1/4" to one side. They seem to have plenty of extra "meat" where needed.

If you milled this stock shaft hole another 1/4" IMHO it would be dangerously thin. But doorgunner's 1/8" mod above may be fine.

I have been looking for the Moog K6104 offset control arm shaft and it appears to be discontinued everywhere. Is the K6184 really the same part or interchangeable? It is available. I have a '70 Convertible.

Thanks Steve

I bought mine online. I could not find them in any auto parts store system.
Moog 6104 seems to be readily available online
https://www.ebay.com/itm/40279643798...xoCm-gQAvD_BwE
The Napa NCP 2803604 is available online and thru their stores
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NCP2803604
The K6146 & K6184 parts does not fit, it uses nuts on the ends, not bolts

I found mine on line as well. I just googled the moog part number. I think it was Pep Boys or something like that that had them. And they had free shipping in the States.
And by the way, I've had these in for awhile now. Well worth the effort. Car tracks very nice at high speed. Not that it didn't handle well before. but now that "Light Steering " feel is gone.

How long ago did you get them? NAPA list them as unavailable and the ebay item is the last one.

I'll keep looking on ebay. Every part supplier I have tried doesn't have them.

It looks like Eklers has offset shafts. I did ask about two ebay suppliers to see if theirs are offset. None say they are in their listing.
