Default Windshield corner chrome

I have three different versions of these.
One has no grommet for ttop.
One has attached grommet without place for clip
One has attached grommet with place for clip

Has anyone used the reproduction ones?

Thanks

Jan,

Top is early 1968 two piece design. Grommet hole was on second piece that attached to what you have.

Middle is second 1968 design where it was redesigned as one piece.

Bottom is 1969 and up design.

I don't have any experience with the reproductions.

I've bought new ones and they appear to be of the same quality as original OEM. I have a late production 68 and it seems like it uses corner pieces that later years do. The sad thing is that to replace these you have to remove the windshield. Or to word it another way, I don't know how to replace these without removing the windshield. They are made out of pot metal (zinc alloy) and when the corrode, the corrosion forms pits. To have used rechromed and have the pits filled in is $$$$$. Much much cheaper to buy new.
