I own a 72 Corvette and am about to replace the radio and all the speakers. While doing so, I also want to replace the dash. Specifically, the top dash panel has cracks around the speaker areas. Photos attached. Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a new panel? I haven't been able to find any online.
Replacing the upper dash pad just for fixing the speaker openings seems 'excessive' to me. If there are other issues in the dash which need repair, or if the speakers need to be replaced, you would need to loosen or remove the upper dash pad. Otherwise, consider just covering them with aftermarket speaker covers until you MUST remove the upper pad. You can paint/dye the covers to match your pad or just put black covers over the damaged areas.

I will be listing a used upper dash pad for sale in the parts section in the next couple of days. Pad is in very good condition.
