Hey everyone, I'm looking at a 78 Corvette, I'm assuming it's the anniversary edition I'm assuming. Just out of curiosity how much has insurance been for everyone owning the same car?
It is not possible to even guess from your description. Are you wanting daily driver or limited miles insurance? Depreciated value or declared value?
Most '78's were not an Anniversary Edition, but maybe this one is. I don't mean to be rude, but how are you going to assess if the asking price is fair if you don't even know an AE from a normal '78?

Also depends on your age, area, & other variables. Are you planning on classic car insurance vendors, or your just adding it to regular insurance carrier?
I was paying Farmers about $650/year on my 78 Silver Anniversary. No restrictions on driving. I switched to Corvette Museum but it limits some driving.
All 78s were 25th Anniversary models and have the 25th anniversary nose and fuel door emblems. The Silver Anniversary package was an option (RPO B2Z) and included two tone silver paint. B2Z was very popular, a little more than 15,000 cars.

The Pace Car was it's own model for 78.
In the same way that my '93 was a 40th Anny car, the stitching in the seats. Sure, they all got the badges but IMHO the SA cars were only the ones with the package. But anyway, even this amount of discussion is over the OP's head. If this guy wants a C3 then he should have one, but it's better to have some idea than none at all.
Hagerty charges me $400/yr for two 78’s. Declared values of $7500 and 13,000. You set your own declared value and pay accordingly. 25th Anniversary Pair
I think i’m on the higher end. I pay $240 a month for full coverage from a national insurance provider. I’m 21 with a minor fender bender when I was 16. No tickets. I daily drive my c3 (when its running lol). If you think 240 is high, my buddy who daily’s a 650 hp 2019 camaro pays $480 a month. He’s got daddies money helping him.
Guys - your numbers mean nothing. I'm sure most of you have declared value insurance. What you pay is based on the declared value, we have no idea what the C3 the OP is looking at is worth, nor do we know what your declared value is for the payment you have. Besides, the OP made 1 post and hasn't been back.
