The column trim is from a '68 - The door pull is either from a '68 (convertible) or a '75 (coupe). Hope someone can use these

This plate mounts directly to the front cross member of your C-3 and allows you to jack your car from the center location as well as tow your vehicle onto, or into, a trailer. It works great for protecting your car being towed onto a roll back. The C-3 Easy-Tow will come with grade eight mounting hardware and instructions. If you own a 68-75 the holes should already be in the front cross member for mounting. If you own a 76-82 then the holes are easy to mark and drill and will allow you to mount this plate to your car as well. Takes about 5-10 minutes to install. Remove it if you want to clean the underside of your car or leave it in place, it is up to you.
I will ship this C-3 Easy-Tow plate kit to the USA for free via USPS medium one rate box.
If more than one person is requesting the C-3 Easy-Tow then I will set up a drawing to pull a name for the winner.
Thank you.

David thank you so much for your generosity. The C-3 Easy-Jack front cross member jacking plate kit came today and I can’t wait to install them. They are such a great idea in that, it is such a great place to jack up our Vettes and it’s a shame not to be able to do so easily. Thanks again happy holidays to you and all your family and stay well. Ike

Thanks David, I really appreciate it! Somehow my front cross member is actually in good condition and this will ensure it stays that way going forward.

I have a set of headlight bulb retainer cups (sort of). I originally needed just the right hand inner cup so I ordered just that one. When I received it, it turned out to be mislabeled and was actually for the left hand inner. My wife then ordered a complete set just to make sure we'd get the one we needed. I used that one RH inner cup from the new set so I'm left with the RH and LH outers and two LH inners. Let me know if anyone could use any or all of these.

Edit: I actually found a fifth one, this last one is for the LH Outer position, so I have one RH Outer, two LH Outers, and two LH inners. This last LH Outer is the one that was originally on my car in the wrong position so it's used and a bit dirty but usable. Looking at it, I think it's actually not a Corvette specific piece because the back has a round hole rather than the diamond shape of the correct ones. All the mounting points are identical to the correct one though so it should work fine. I'm guessing it's a junkyard part from some other GM vehicle.

I got them, thank you very much.

Long Post - But Please Read It Fully Or Miss Out On An Opportunity.

While I am elated personally to have received a great gift this year on the Pay-It-Forward gift giving and sharing program, I am felling almost underwhelmed at the response from the community in general as to the lack of activity and participation. It may be a general observation on my part and if I am misinterpreting the situation I will humbly apologize for that misunderstanding. I'm not blaming anyone, or any organization, for this situation and I attempted to do a Pay-It-Forward on the Facebook Corvette groups as well without much success; well, dismal success to be honest. So let me take this burden upon myself for the feeling in 2021 and offer that maybe, just maybe, 2022 can be better. Its been tough on everyone, yes, everyone, this year and I hope we can shake this dome of negativity and fear and break back into the excitement of boys and girls with their toys and get the C-3 Corvette (and other years as well) back to a fun filled sharing group of caring people. I promise to do my part to the best of my ability and to maintain a positive attitude, it is what I must do for me. I hope you join me in 2020 as we move to get as many of our cars back on the road, back out in the public, and get ourselves back on the road where these cars belong.
One last gift for 2021 from me to the community to show that giving is better than receiving. This one will be different. This will be a drawing. Winner wins. I won't select the name, my wife will. And the winner will get what I am offering without cost to them no matter where they live. My final gift for 2021.

Included in the gift is one C-3 Easy-Tow Extreme towing kit. Included in the kit is the following.
1) One C-3 Easy-Tow front towing plate kit.
2) One C-3 Easy-Tow rear towing plate kit.*
3) One Snapping Turtle 36" V-Strap front towing strap.
4) One Snappin' Turtle 24" V-Strap rear towing strap.
5) Retail value of this give away is approximately $275.
This will be packed and shipped in early 2022 by me personally. I have the plates, straps, and all hardware and instructions here now.

*Please note. The rear C-3 tie down bracket changed in 1980-1982. I do not have a current 1980-82 rear plate but I am looking for one now to modify. I will locate one and modify it and powder coat it like I do the 1963-1979 plates and it will be supplied with the kit if the winner owns a 1980-82 with batwing. Least I can do to help and not exclude that part of our group.

If there appears to be no interest I will pull this offer and never mention it again, I promise.
Happy New Year.

David, don't feel bad; the C3 thread is an unmitigated success compared to the C1/2 side!

I thought that starting one over there would beat least moderately successful, something to grow on, but there was nearly no interest in it at all; just two participants.
(well, 550 views could be called interest I guess, people just looking for something )

Anyhow, have a GREAT 2022 and if I get a chance to spend more than 4 hours at Carlisle this year I hope to say hi!

Merry Christmas Dave, this is quite the offer. I would like to put my name in the draw. If I happen to get it I will post the rear plate for free as I won't be able to use it on my car.
Thanks again Dale

David. Mighty generous of you to offer these great attachments. I too noticed a lack of involvement in this 2021 pay it forward although there were some nice items available people just didn’t seem interested. I might go back and claim one more since no one else has. Your addition is a great finish to this year’s event. I myself will pass since you were already extremely generous to me but I hope that people are paying attention and take advantage of your great offer. These products that you’ve created are a great enhancement to our Corvettes. Good luck stay well and stay safe. Ike

I too noticed the lack of enthusiasm for this thread this year also. Last years thread seemed to be down from previous years also. In previous years the Pay it Forward thread spent more time in the list of regular threads and I think was more visible. Personally I don't notice the sticky threads all that much. My hope is that it will do better next year and participation will increase.

David, thank you for your generosity and contributions to this as well as the hobby in general. I would like to be entered in the drawing please.

Hey David,
Thank you for offering up this kit, it is truly amazing for anyone who receives it.
Since I already have some of the wonderful products you are giving away, I will not put my name in so someone else has a better chance at winning the kit.
Thanks again for all you contribute.
I also noticed a lack of interest in the Pay it Forward thread this year
Lets hope for a better year as we roll into 2022.

Do you think the Pay It Forward would gain more traction in the General discussions thread rather than a sticky, where folks may be more likely to see it?
IF it gained enough traction, it may likely stay towards the top of the feed(?)

Im a rather new member, and not sure how it was done before the last couple years. Maybe it was relocated to the sticky section in order to be easier to locate??

Either way, I, too, was hoping for more interest this year, but thank you to everybody who participated!
Have a Happy New Year!!
