Who sells the best fitting door panels? I have older ones from a vendor that I will not mention, they are a terrible fit. They are so warped that the window has a hard time unless I loosen the panel. thanx.
From what I've read, they are all like that. You need to warm them in the sun or carefully with a heat gun to shape them to fit the door. I have some new door panels that will likely need this as well.
Knoch might also have some OEM's, I have heard there are still some around. Higher priced but might be worth it...
On a side note, if one has the original door panels AK will rebuild them with new vinyl and trim. This way they're guaranteed to fit just like they were when new.

I feel your pain brother. I put new door panels on and could never get my windows to adjust correctly. I had to remove them and reinstall the old tattered OEM panels now the windows work perfectly.
This isn't the best idea but it worked for ne on the door panels
I ended up padding the tops of two small saw horses (prevents depressions from forming on the door panel cover) and laying a door panel Upside down lengthwise onto the two saw horses outside the garage.
It was a sunny day/95*F on the driveway, so I placed a 30# bag of sand on the center area of the door panel and left it here until evening...
it took 2 days to flatten the door panel outside in the sun....it fit just right afterwards. I did both door panels. *Remove the sand bag and put a straightedge over the panel to make sure it stays straight across*
For the winter weather I will use the same method but it will stay in the garage and place a Heat Lamp/Lowest setting on the concrete floor aimed upwards at the panels.
Keep checking the panels for OVERHEATING. I kept the temperature on the panels around 95*-100*F to prevent melting the original glue.
The plastic backed door panels do not fit for crap, doesn't matter who makes them. The plastic that they use has "memory" and flattens out, so it does not contour to the door properly.
