Lost a clutch fan once in a blazer. Simpy hit passing gear..maybe 4krpm? Did a number on the hood
With fans I dont care about some hp loss I wont feel, cooling is #1 priority
Its a shame noone has come out with a plastic fan with a clutch that tightens up a little early to keep the car cool.
That would be a nice solution. Lot of weight spinning around
Id ditch my electric in a hot second, or leave it wired in as a secondary.
