Lower left dash vent, duct install
Can anybody tell me if the duct for the lower left hand vent on the instrument panel can be installed without pulling the dash panel back?
Would I need to drop the column?
This is a non AC car, 1970.

It's like the first thing to remove when working on drivers side dash, and the last thing to go back in. So, No you don't need to remove anything,

You will need to insert the end that is round so it will cover the round plastic tube going to the chrome dash air deflector ball. I always push down the clutch pedal with my hand so it’s not in the way before I install the duct. There is also a small metal bracket where a screw is used to attach the duct to the dash, so it doesn’t move.
