Power seat question
Looking into converting my 76 from the manual seats to 4 way power from an 80 plus, and I mocked it up yesterday in the original 76 floorpan.
It is nowhere close to looking like it will fit.
Does anyone have a pic of a power seat floor? Or know how much difference there is?

The 81-82 power driver's seat required a special floor pan deepened to fit the motor rack of the seat. The pan will not fit earlier cars.

You can build your own 'pocket ' out of sheetmetal and weld it or rivet it to the floor....it is a pretty well defined area.
I guess the minor lesson here is ASK FIRST! BUY LATER!

The passengers side is the same as far as I can remember when compared to other years. There really wasn’t a reason to change it since there was no power seat option introduced for it.
There may be a slight difference in the track mounting bolt holes in the pans.

Do you still have this power seat track? Mine **** the bed and I’m finding it impossible to find a replacement. Might be interested in purchasing it.
