Well electrical was my specialty when I was a mechanic. Mostly on class 8 trucks and heavy equipment. I retired now and I'm about an 1 1/2 hours from you. What kind of electrical work do you need.

Thanks for responding. Have a recently acquired 72 ls5. Wipers don;t work. Prior owner installed new wiper motor. Watched youtube video and there are four switches that must be operational for wipers to work. Not sure which one is the problem or how to fix it. Also, multi speed blower fan has only one speed when the Ac is on.

these cars are boats with wheels. everything has to be grounded. and even when you can SEE the ground wire connected "correctly", it can have corrosion between the connector and the steel piece the wire is attached to. (also between the wire and the connector itself.) also the piece of metal the ground is attached to is not usually the frame or engine. so there is another ground wire or path from the bracket-plate-mount in question and the frame. so there are 3 to 7 possible places to lose your ground in most systems on these cars.
