Default Hinged shelf behind seats?

I took this hinged panel out years ago and would like to clean it up and put it back in.
It’s on the top of the compartment behind the seats. There are 2 hinges on the rear I would like to replace. What is this called? I’ve done all the googling I can and can’t find it.

It is the self (tray) used to store the removable rear window when the window is removed. I have one in my '74 from a '72 and they look totally different than that one though

I beieve 68.69 used a fiber material that was flocked. Later ones were plastic and much more durable.

I don't know that I've ever seen them offered reproduction so cleaning up yours or finding a good used set are most likely your only options
M

And for what it's worth, there are 4 different trays used from 68-72 so be careful with buying parts

That does not look like a 68 rear window tray to me. A 68 tray has springs on the hinges and is a one year only. And I do not know what that metal thing is in the upper center, it looks almost like an added fire extinguisher holder to me. Lou.

I took a second look at that one installed bracket on your tray and that is a 68 bracket. Is the other one missing? Lou.

The hinge is folded underneath. I’m going to clean everything up and re-use. The fire extinguisher holder was on when I bought it from the original owner in 1985. I plan on getting a new bracket and extinguisher. I think it’s a good idea.

Yes a fire extinguisher is a very good idea...
But it needs to be quickly and easily accessible.
If you have any items, t-tops, luggage, bags etc in the rear compartment it might be hard to access.

Mines mounted, like many here, to the front seat.

Riverracer, would you mind posting a picture of how your fire extinguisher is mounted? Thanks
