Default Stingray Emblem, wrong part?

Hello all, I have 3 new reproduction Stingray emblems and none of them will fit in the existing fender post holes.
The old (original?) part fits fine.
The posts on the new ones are off by about 1/16". It was tough to get a pic of this, but hopefully it is clear in the photos.
Could the repros be from a different year (I have a 74)? Or do you think they were incorrectly made?

Any recommendations on getting new ones that will fit? Unfortunately its several years too late to return these.

Thanks!

The pins certainly don't do much other than locate the emblem with adhesive actually holding them on. They aren't that tight of a fit in the holes. Were the fenders painted between fitting the old vs. new? It wouldn't take much to open the holes a 32nd at a time with some careful reaming with a drill.

Thanks, I did end up opening up the holes after paint, and even reaming them out a bit further with a file.
However the new emblems are so far off, If I opened the holes wide enough for them to fit, then the holes would be seen after the emblem is applied.

A lot of the reproduction emblems (including the GM Reproductions) have a lot of quality problems.

Wanted to follow up, thanks to all who responded. I was able to get some NOS replacements "Made In Canada" off ebay. They worked perfectly.
So the repros were the problem.

The pictures show the post offset of the repros (blue sticker) vs NOS (green sticker).

I put a repop on mine a few months ago and I had to enlarge the holes a bit, but not even close to being visible after install.
And I used self threading nuts on the posts to insure the new emblem wouldn’t fall off like the old one did.

I'm tired of hearing people complain about the quality of Chinese parts.... I mean they're talented! I once saw a Chinese guy eat soup with chop sticks....the real problem is today's generation....those 7 year old Chinese kids that are making all these parts are careless slackers

You guys had me worried so I checked the emblems that I ordered they are made by Trim Parts and the quality is outstanding and fit in the factory hole.

I'm glad yours worked out.
My repro was also an official GM restoration part, unknown manufacturer, the package was dated 2021.

Trim parts are the most accurate and I think that all are made in the USA. Lou.
