I would like to replace my inline GLASS fuel filter (between mechanical Pump to Quadrajet Carburetor) to a metal one. It needs a 3/8ths IN and I want to swap it out. Any Recommendations? If y'all have any photos of your set up and part numbers/links to where y'all got filters let me know!!
I'm, surprised, I have a glass, cleanable in line filter and I couldn't be happier with it. It's easily serviceable, will last forever, and I like that you can visibly see when the carb is getting fuel.

I understand. In a previous post I made yesterday morning (has pics of location) it is in a bad location for me. It is in between the valve cover and the AC compressor bracket. One small slip and it breaks……also a pain to replace too…I’d rather switch to a metal one and keep the old hose on there.

Your '74 Vette does not use an in-line filter. Get rid of the silly inline filter and install the correct steel one-piece fuel line from pump to carb - get rid of that horrible rubber fuel line. The fuel filter is in the carb and is more than adequate to do all the filtering tasks needed.
